Today marks the 30th or so car I've seen in the past year that have no license plates at all. I'm guessing that these are people who either have lost their license or more likely, that can't afford to insure their car.
What a sad state of affairs Ontario is when people can't afford to insure their car so that they can get to work. I seriously doubt that people would otherwise risk driving without.
Cheers!

im wondering if they have one of those temp plates that stick to the inside of your windshield? i cant see anyone driving around without a license plate...you would think they would be busted relatively quickly.

Nah, I looked for the temp papers. They have to be displayed at the top right of the windshield, IIRC.
I've seen a LOT of these cars recently.
Cheers!

I would suspect it would have something to do with the state of welfare in Nap. There seems to be a very high contingent of people trying to survive on assistance for a town that small especially since there is very little low rent housing.
Unless you can question your own beliefs, you have no place questioning the beliefs of others.

| Shaman wrote on Sat, 20 June 2009 18:28 | Seems they've cleared this up a lot since I've first written this thread. I spend a lot of time in or going through the area, and it seems like there are dramatically less cars in Napanee or Kingston with no plates.
Guess maybe the cops and the beurocrats noticed, too.

Or people noticed that you were noticing... and started stealing other peoples plates?
